Job Description:

The Student Success Assistant's main task will be to provide one-on-one enrollment and student support to guarantee the success of prospective and current University of Florida online students. The DESC utilizes Salesforce as a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system where team members will log all student communication and track the students' progress throughout the course.

The Student Success Assistant is responsible for:

+ Providing support in navigating the UF's departments, websites, and online systems.

+ Checking in with students that are not progressing in their online courses.

+ Reminding students of outstanding balances.

+ Following up with interested students to recruit them into the online program of interest.

+ Assisting students with their GatorLinks and UFIDs.

+ Onboarding new students into their online courses.

+ Understanding, Solving, and Following up with student concerns.

+ Reviewing data in the student relationship management system and locating students that may need support.

+ Updating and maintaining frequently ask questions knowledge base, and communication templates for student support representatives.

+ Providing suggestions for effective social media communication to highlight new and existing programs. Social media platforms include Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.

+ Performing outbound communication and support inbound communication to meet established benchmarks.

+ Utilizing independent judgment to determine what level of support the student requires.

+ Ensuring that all inquiries are promptly addressed.

+ Recommending and revising process improvements and policy decisions to the Communications Manager.

+ Monitor the student life cycle and track our organization's relationship with prospective and current students.

+ Participate in on-going training to remain current on customer service, enrollment management functions including process improvements, financial aid regulations; university and division policies; and state statutes.

+ Other duties assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

Must be eligible for Federal Work Study. Strong communication skills both oral and written. Ability to contribute creative ideas and concepts. Able to work in fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of customer service.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements plus

+ Minimum 3.0 GPA

+ Customer service experience

+ Proficiency with: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
